Friday School Proposal
The mission of COSSA’s Friday School is to provide a structured and supportive intervention that transforms disciplinary infractions into opportunities for growth. By combining community service, academic tutoring, and restorative justice practices, Friday School promotes accountability, improves academic performance, and fosters positive social-emotional development.

Accountability and Responsibility, Academic Support, Restorative Practices, Social Emotional Growth, and Collaborative District Support

Program Structure
Students may be assigned to half-day (AM or PM) or full-day Friday School. This would be determined by each individual district.

Program Supports
Staffing will include certified educators, parapro, and/or facilitators trained in restorative practices and SEL strategies.
Friday School will be hosted at COSSA facilities, providing a centralized and neutral setting for all participating districts. Meals​ and Transportation can be​ provided,
