

Culinary Arts
This course is designed for students who desire to enter a Culinary Arts career.
Students will learn food service cooking, baking, cake decorating, executive catering, kitchen management, kitchen safety and sanitation, inventory, budgeting, menu planning, food production, customer service and sales.

Culinary Arts Internship

Upon completion of Food Production and passing the Serve Safe certification exam, students may earn their certification from Serve Safe.

College Credit
Nutrition & Food articulates to CULA 170 - Food Service Nutrition from a total of 3 credits. Students must meet certain requirements, including earning a "B" in this class to be eligible for college credit.

Instructor Bio
Certified culinary leader with over 15 years of experience in the Culinary industry. Skilled in hospitality and restaurant management, menu and recipe development, café and catering operations. Strong knowledge of a variety of cuisines including French, Italian, Greek, Indian, Latin and Asian. Extensive knowledge of controlling product and labor cost.
